FLOOD MAP

The Flood Map of Barangay San Isidro provides a critical overview of the areas most vulnerable to water accumulation within the village. The map categorizes the territory into three primary risk levels: Category B, which faces severe flooding of 3 to 5 feet across 94.61 hectares (indicated by the red diagonal lines); Category C, which experiences flooding of less than 3 feet; and Category D, which identifies 32.35 hectares that are not affected by flooding (green area). The map clearly illustrates flood routes (red arrows) showing how water moves from the higher elevations toward the low-lying agricultural and residential zones. Most of the barangay’s key landmarks, including the Elementary School, Brgy. Hall, and several residences, are situated within the high-risk flood zones, highlighting the urgent need for the dikes and river control projects mentioned in the community’s historical background.
