GEO-HAZARD

The Geo-Hazard Map of Barangay Bolodbolod in the Municipality of Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte, identifies areas within the community that are highly susceptible to natural disasters. According to the legend, the map highlights a significant Flooded Area (indicated in large tan-colored sections) primarily located in the lower-elevation western plains near the Lawigan River, as well as multiple Landslide Areas (brown-shaded patches) scattered across the steeper interior slopes. These hazard zones are overlaid on a topographic background of contour lines, illustrating the direct relationship between the village’s physical terrain and its vulnerability to geological and climate-related risks.
